Absolvent Fakulty managementu a ekonomiky na Univerzitě Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně zaujal porotu netradičním tématem i pojetím – při tvorbě své práce s názvem “Využití teorie chaosu a Elliottových vln na finančním trhu” totiž kromě jiného neváhal riskovat nemalé množství svých peněz, aby dokázal, že jeho teze jsou správné. I díky tomu si odnesl hlavní výhru ve výši 20 tisíc Kč. „Teorie chaosu a teorie Elliottových vln nabízí zajímavé metody, použitelné při obchodování na finančních trzích. Tyto metody jsou poměrně často používány, avšak zůstávají stále málo pochopeny. Hlavním cílem mojí práce je představit tyto metody a ukázat možnosti jejich praktického využití,” vysvětluje Sadil, který během pouhých dvou týdnů dokázal zhodnotit vložené prostředky o 20,1 %. Tak zní název diplomové práce, za kterou Lucia Hanková získala třetí místo v Ceně Atlas Copco Services, které letos poprvé oceňovala ekonomicky zaměřené diplomky. „Zaměřila jsem se na tvorbu ekonomicky přidané hodnoty v rámci telekomunikačního sektoru. Hodnotila jsem země V4, protože trhy jsou zhruba podobné. Slovensko a Česko vyšlo podstatně lépe než Maďarsko a Polsko. Je vidět, že sektor služeb je více orientovaný na západ, ale v Maďarsku stále služby nejsou vyvinuty tolik, aby generovaly takovou hodnotu, jakou si vlastníci a akcionáři představují,“ uvedla svou práci, kterou letos obhájila na Mendelově univerzitě, Hanková. Z této univerzity uspěli také další dva absolventi. Klára Baková se svou prací „Finanční akcelerátor v Evropě po finanční krizi“ se umístila na šestém místě a Jiří Kratochvíl s prací „Ekonometrický model spotřební funkce v podmínkách zemí V4“ obsadil páté místo. „Chtěl jsem zjistit, na čem závisí spotřeba občanů, co ji nejvíc ovlivňuje. Zda je to například výše příjmů, nezaměstnanost, inflace nebo něco jiného. První s názvem Target’s ownership structure as a determinant of takeover premium a druhá věnující se Prognóze vývoje světových finančních trhů s ohledem na zabezpečení hodnoty portfolia. Také v roce 2017 se přihlásila řada úspěšných prací. Michal Goláň získal první místo v kategorii Technika se svým nápadem na vylepšení invalidního vozíku. Cílem jeho designu bylo vytvoření charakteristického vzhledu, který zohledňuje zdravotní stav uživatele a respektuje ergonomické a technické parametry vozíku. V kategorii Ekonomika a podnikání exceloval na první příčce Maroš Novák. A graduate of the Faculty of Management and Economics at Tomas Bata University in Zlín intrigued the jury by an unconventional topic and concept. During working on his thesis entitled " Application of Chaos Theory and Elliott Waves on Financial Market", he did not hesitate to risk a considerable amount of his financial resources to prove his propositions were correct. Thanks to that, he won the main prize of CZK 20,000. "Chaos theory and Elliott wave theory offer interesting methods that can be used in trading in financial markets. These methods are used quite often, but still remain poorly understood. The main aim of my thesis is to present these methods and show the possibilities of their practical use", explains Sadil, who was able to increase the value of the invested funds by 20.1% in just two weeks. Telecommunication market of V4 countries. This is the title of the diploma thesis, for which Lucia Hanková won third prize in the Atlas Copco Services Award, which was that year awarded for the first time to economically oriented theses only. "I focused on creating economic added value within the telecommunications sector. I rated the V4 countries because the markets are roughly similar. Slovakia and Czech Republic performed significantly better than Hungary and Poland. It is apparent that the services sector is more oriented to the west, and in Hungary services are still not developed enough to generate the value that owners and shareholders prefer, "said Hanková in her work, which she defended at Mendel University in 2018. Two more graduates from Mendel University were successful. Klára Baková placed sixth with her work "Financial Accelerator in Europe after the Financial Crisis" and Jiří Kratochvíl took fifth place with his work "Econometric Model of the Consumption Function in the Conditions of the V4 Countries". "I wanted to find out what the citizens' consumption depends on, what influences it the most - whether it is, for example, income, unemployment, inflation or something else. The first one is called Target’s ownership structure as a determinant of takeover premium and the second one is devoted to the forecast of the global financial markets development with regard to securing the portfolio value. In 2017, there were also a number of successful theses. Michal Goláň won first prize in the Engineering category with his idea to improve a wheelchair. The aim of its design was to create a speacial construction that takes into account the user's health and respects the ergonomic and technical parameters of the wheelchair. In the Economy and Business category, Maroš Novák excelled in first place.
